1. Start with the service and geographic boundary
Bosseo’s public product description presents a coverage model built from legal services multiplied by cities. It says a firm can choose the whole state or only selected counties. For a West Bend firm, that makes the first decision more precise than “local SEO.” Is the intended footprint West Bend city, Washington County, additional Wisconsin counties, or a statewide service area? West Bend’s recorded relationship to Washington County is clear, but that relationship does not establish that every community in the county is an appropriate target.
Recommended approach
Bring a written service list and a geographic policy to the review. Separate services the firm actively handles from services it does not accept, and distinguish places where the firm can competently serve clients from places it merely hopes to reach. Ask Bosseo to show how the selected counties and cities would determine page coverage. Do not expand the footprint simply because the population estimate is available.
