1. Start with the geographic definition
A dashboard is only useful when everyone agrees what its geography represents. Sheboygan town and Sheboygan County are not interchangeable, and a household or population estimate does not establish where prospective clients search or where matters originate. Your firm should identify whether a city, county, service area or another defined location is being measured for each target. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes rankings by service-and-city target, city data, and keyword coverage across a state. That makes geographic naming a practical evaluation question: can your team tell which location a ranking, lead or matter is associated with?
Recommended approach
Use Sheboygan town and Sheboygan County as separate labels in your review where both are relevant. Ask which geographic fields appear beside rankings, leads and source pages, and decide which locations belong in management reporting. Do not treat the town’s ACS population estimate as a forecast of marketing performance.
