1. Start with the service area, not a population shortcut
Little Suamico’s recorded county relationship is Oconto County. That matters because a firm may serve people in the town, elsewhere in Oconto County, or in additional Wisconsin locations. Those are different geographic scopes. A review strategy should make clear which profile, office, service area, and client groups it is intended to support. The Census population estimate can identify the municipality being discussed, but it cannot show how many people seek legal help, how many compare firms, or how many clients are eligible to leave a review.
Recommended approach
Before approving a reputation program, define the geographic scope in writing: Little Suamico, Oconto County, Wisconsin, or another area the firm actually serves. Then compare that scope with the firm’s Google Business Profile, intake records, and matter locations. Use the result to decide whether one reputation effort is appropriate or whether separate geographic considerations need review.
