1. Set the geographic question before reading the numbers
The Census record identifies Hobart village as a municipality in Brown County. It does not establish the boundaries of your firm’s market, and it does not show whether a caller lives in Hobart, elsewhere in Brown County or outside the county. That distinction matters when a dashboard reports city, county or broader service-area performance. A number labeled “Hobart” should have a clear definition: a search target, a page location, a caller’s stated location, an address or another agreed field. Those are not interchangeable. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says its reporting can include city data and source attribution. Ask how those labels would be defined for your account rather than treating a place name as proof of demand or case value.
Recommended approach
Bring a written service-area map to the consultation. Decide whether the dashboard should separate Hobart from Brown County and any other areas your firm serves. Then ask to review how location labels are assigned, corrected and displayed before approving a decision rule based on them.
