Set the geographic boundary before asking for reviews
Elm Grove is recorded as a municipality in Waukesha County. A firm may serve clients in Elm Grove, elsewhere in Waukesha County, or across Wisconsin, but those are different geographic relationships. A reputation program should therefore distinguish the firm’s actual service area from the location of its office, the client’s residence and the location associated with a legal matter. Bosseo’s public product page centers Reputation & Reviews on Google Business Profile activity and describes automated review requests, responses and review-growth reporting. That capability does not decide which geographic audiences are appropriate for your firm.
Recommended approach
Create a written service-area rule before implementation. Decide whether the review program is intended for Elm Grove clients only, clients throughout Waukesha County, or a broader Wisconsin practice. Use that rule when reviewing profile information, requests and reporting. Do not use Elm Grove’s population estimate to predict how many reviews or inquiries the firm will receive.
