1. Define what “Eau Claire” means in the dashboard
A local report can become misleading when “Eau Claire” is used as a loose label for several different geographies. The Census record identifies Eau Claire city as a municipality and records relationships with Chippewa County and Eau Claire County. Those are not interchangeable reporting units. A firm may want city-only visibility, county coverage, or a broader Wisconsin view, but the dashboard should not silently blend them. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard text says it tracks service-and-city targets and can show which cities produce calls. That makes geographic definitions a buying issue, not a cosmetic setting.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how a city, county and wider state target would appear separately. Decide which geography belongs in each keyword group, lead report and source-attribution view. Keep households, individuals, municipality boundaries and counties out of the same total unless your firm has deliberately defined the calculation.
