1. Start with the geography your intake actually serves
The U.S. Census Bureau records Columbus city as a municipality with a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 5,488 and a margin of error of 15. The record associates Columbus with Columbia County and Dodge County. That is useful context for defining reporting boundaries, but it does not establish legal demand, competition, search volume, lead volume or revenue. Your attribution review should therefore distinguish a Columbus visit from a visit associated with either county or another Wisconsin location. The distinction is especially important when a landing page or campaign serves more than one geography. A single “local” total can hide whether inquiries are coming from the city, the two listed counties or elsewhere.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic context will be reviewed alongside each journey. Decide whether your internal reports need separate views for Columbus, Columbia County, Dodge County and the rest of Wisconsin. Do not expand or reduce service coverage solely because the population record is large or small; use actual inquiry and matter records to guide that decision.
