Define the geography before you judge the numbers
A Chippewa Falls firm may use the city name in a target, while its actual service area may include other places in Chippewa County or areas elsewhere in Wisconsin. The Census record identifies Chippewa Falls city as a municipality in Chippewa County; it does not establish a metropolitan area, client demand or a market boundary. Bosseo’s public dashboard text describes rankings for service-and-city targets and says city data can inform decisions. That makes geographic definitions an important buying question. Ask whether a tile refers specifically to Chippewa Falls, to Chippewa County, to a broader Wisconsin target or to another geography. Do not treat a combined total as evidence that the city itself generated the activity.
Recommended approach
Bring your intended service-area list to the review. Require each geographic label to be understandable to a partner who did not configure the dashboard, and decide whether city, county and statewide views must remain separate.
