1. Define what counts as a result for a Teays Valley practice
Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes leads as contacts classified as Potential New Client, with Current Client, vendor and spam contacts separated. It also describes case-type tagging and lead totals by practice area. That distinction matters when your firm serves Teays Valley and the wider Putnam County area: a call from a person seeking information is not automatically a qualified matter, and a qualified matter is not automatically a signed engagement. The dashboard is useful only if your firm agrees on those definitions before reviewing trends. The Teays Valley geography also needs a clear rule. Decide whether a report should isolate Teays Valley, include other Putnam County communities, or cover a broader West Virginia service area. Do not treat the CDP’s population estimate as proof that any particular practice area has demand.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how location, case type and contact status would be represented, then document the firm’s definitions for inquiry, potential new client, accepted matter and signed matter. Require every discussion of ROI to state which stage it measures.
