1. Start with the geographic question your firm actually needs answered
The Census record identifies Vashon CDP and its relationship to King County. It does not say that every inquiry comes from Vashon, that Vashon is the only market your firm serves, or that a county-level number represents a Vashon result. Those distinctions matter when you review a dashboard. A location label should have a defined meaning: search target, caller location, page location, matter location or another agreed category. Without that definition, a city or county breakdown can look precise while answering the wrong question.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic fields would be defined for your firm and how Vashon would be distinguished from King County or other service areas. Treat any geographic view as useful only after you agree what it measures and what it cannot establish.
