1. Set a defensible Vancouver and Clark County footprint
The U.S. Census Bureau records Vancouver as a municipality in Clark County, Washington. Its 2020–2024 ACS 5-year population estimate is 195,300, with a margin of error of 71. That is geographic context, not proof of search demand, competition, legal need, leads or revenue. A Vancouver law firm should therefore treat the city and county relationship as a scoping question: which communities does the firm actually serve, and which locations can it support with accurate legal and contact information? Bosseo’s public product page says the footprint can cover a whole state or only selected counties, with a dedicated page for each service and city inside the chosen scope.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to model a Clark County footprint separately from any broader Washington plan. Confirm the cities included, the services paired with them and the firm’s rules for excluding locations it does not serve. Do not expand from Vancouver to every available location merely because the map permits it.
