1. Define the geographic coverage before spending
Prosser city and Benton County are not interchangeable geographic descriptions. The Census record identifies Prosser as a municipality and places it in Benton County. That relationship matters when you review the firm’s service area, but it does not authorize an assumption that every Benton County searcher is a suitable prospect or that a Prosser campaign will cover the county in the same way. Bosseo’s public Local Service Ads description says its program includes category and geography targeting, with service areas set deliberately. That gives you a reason to make geography an explicit business decision rather than treating “Prosser” as a broad regional label. Discuss whether the firm wants inquiries from Prosser only, from additional areas it actually serves, or from a defined combination of locations. Confirm the geographic scope in the profile and compare it with the firm’s consultation capacity, travel policy and case acceptance rules.
Recommended approach
Begin with a written service-area decision. Identify the places the firm genuinely serves, the locations it does not want, and the practice areas that apply in each location. Do not use the 6,305-person estimate as a demand forecast. Review actual inquiry geography after launch before changing coverage.
