1. Start with Othello’s actual service geography
Your firm may serve Othello city, other parts of Adams County, or clients elsewhere in Washington. Those are different geographic scopes and should not be treated as interchangeable. The Census record identifies Othello as a municipality in Adams County; it does not show how many people call law firms, which practice areas generate inquiries, or when callers need help. That distinction matters when configuring an AI answering system. A greeting that names the wrong service area can confuse callers, while a broad greeting may avoid excluding people your firm serves outside the city.
Recommended approach
Define the geography in your firm profile and greeting based on the clients you actually accept. During a Bosseo review, decide whether callers should be asked where an incident occurred, where they live, or whether they are already a client. Treat those as intake questions to evaluate—not as conclusions drawn from Othello’s population record.
