1. Define the geography before you interpret a source
North Bend city is recorded in King County, Washington. That relationship matters because a report can otherwise blur a city, a county and a broader service area. If your firm serves North Bend but also accepts matters elsewhere in King County or Washington, those locations should not be treated as interchangeable in attribution. A North Bend landing page, a county-level page and a referral from outside the city can represent different strategic decisions. Bosseo’s public Lead Attribution page says the service can show the landing page, channel and referrer associated with a lead, and can identify which city pages produce cases. That makes geographic naming and service-area definitions important inputs for review. The Census population estimate should not be used to predict inquiries, calls or cases.
Recommended approach
Write down the exact geographic areas your firm accepts before reviewing reports. Ask to see whether a lead record preserves the relevant landing page and whether your team can distinguish North Bend from King County and other Washington locations without treating population as a demand forecast.
