1. Start with the site you already operate
A hosting change affects more than page files. Your current website may depend on a database, DNS records, SSL certificates, redirects, forms and email-related records. Bosseo’s public Dedicated Hosting page says its migration work covers files, database, DNS and email records, and that the move is staged before DNS is switched. That gives you a concrete scope to discuss rather than treating migration as a simple file transfer. The Martha Lake relationship also needs to be explicit: the Census identifies Martha Lake as a census-designated place in Snohomish County. If your firm serves Martha Lake while operating elsewhere, review whether the current site accurately describes that service area and whether location-specific pages are useful to visitors. Do not treat the population estimate as evidence that a particular practice area will generate inquiries.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to inventory the current website, its records and its service-area language. Require a written definition of what will be moved, what will remain with another provider and what must work before DNS changes.
