1. Set the geographic boundary before reading the numbers
Everett is a municipality in Washington. The 2020–2024 ACS five-year estimate records 111,845 residents, with a margin of error of 65, and places the city in Snohomish County. That is population and geographic context—not evidence of legal demand, search volume, competition, calls, cases or revenue. A dashboard should therefore distinguish Everett city from Snohomish County and from any broader Washington coverage. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page says its ranking view can track service-and-city targets and that city data can inform decisions. Those labels matter only when the firm defines exactly which city, county or statewide target each record represents.
Recommended approach
Ask for geographic labels that match your actual reporting question. Review Everett-specific activity separately from Snohomish County activity, and do not treat the city’s population as a forecast. Decide whether a location is attached to a keyword, landing page, caller, intake record or matter—and document that distinction before comparing results.
