1. Set the geographic record before judging the source
A College Place inquiry should not be treated as interchangeable with every inquiry from Walla Walla County or from elsewhere in Washington. College Place is recorded as a municipality within Walla Walla County. That distinction matters when you review landing pages, referrals and matter outcomes: the address or service area associated with a person is not automatically the same as the page or channel that generated the inquiry. The city’s ACS population estimate provides a defined geographic reference, but it cannot tell you how many people need legal help, which practice areas they seek or how many will contact a firm.
Recommended approach
Agree on the geographic labels you want reviewed before interpreting performance. Separate College Place from countywide coverage and from broader Washington activity where your records allow. Ask whether each journey can be examined alongside the service area and case type, rather than using population as a proxy for opportunity.
