1. Set the geographic boundary before reviewing stories
Bothell is recorded in the Census data as a municipality associated with King County and Snohomish County. That does not mean every story from either county is relevant to your firm, and it does not establish that people in Bothell search for legal coverage. It does give you a precise starting point for deciding what a review should include: Bothell itself, the two listed counties, Washington statewide developments, and any other geography your practice actually serves. Keep those categories distinct. A page about a Washington law change is not automatically a Bothell page. A county incident is not automatically relevant to every Bothell household or individual. Bosseo’s public Legal News description says stories are matched to a firm’s practice areas and state. Ask how that matching would be applied to your chosen geography and whether the firm can approve or skip a proposed page.
Recommended approach
Prepare a written geographic rule for the consultation. Identify whether you want Bothell-specific coverage, King County and Snohomish County coverage, statewide Washington developments, or a combination. Review each proposed category for legal relevance rather than treating population as evidence of demand.
