1. Start with the Anacortes–Skagit County relationship
Bosseo’s public product page allows a firm to choose statewide coverage or limit coverage to selected counties. Anacortes is recorded as part of Skagit County, so a county-based discussion can be more geographically precise than treating the city and county as interchangeable. The Census record identifies Anacortes city as a municipality; it does not say that every Skagit County resident is a prospective client or that a county footprint will produce a particular amount of traffic.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show what a Skagit County footprint would include, which cities would be covered, and how the firm could expand later if its service area changes. Compare that scope with the firm’s actual consultation and representation boundaries. Do not select statewide coverage merely because Anacortes has a recorded population, and do not assume a city page is appropriate where the firm does not serve the surrounding area.
