1. Define the University of Virginia geography before reviewing ROI
The University of Virginia CDP and Albemarle County are not interchangeable labels, and neither label describes every person or household a Virginia law firm may serve. A firm should decide whether a dashboard view is intended to cover the University of Virginia CDP, Albemarle County, another named locality, a metropolitan area or Virginia more broadly. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard text describes service-and-city keyword targets, city data and case-type reporting. That makes geographic definitions a practical measurement issue: an apparently strong result may mean something different for a University of Virginia target than for a statewide target.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic targets are named in the dashboard and how your firm will distinguish University of Virginia from Albemarle County and wider Virginia coverage. Do not use the CDP’s population estimate as a proxy for prospective clients. Agree in writing which locations belong in each review and which do not.
