1. Start with the geographic definition, not a population assumption
A dashboard is only useful when the firm agrees on what a location means. Stone Ridge CDP is recorded in Loudoun County, Virginia; it is not the same category as the county, the Washington metropolitan area, the Commonwealth or an individual household. Those distinctions matter when a report groups rankings, calls or leads. A Stone Ridge target may be a service-area phrase, a page location, a caller’s stated location or a matter connected to a broader county. Those are different fields and should not be silently merged. Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page describes city and case-type data, source attribution and live keyword tracking. During evaluation, ask how the firm’s geographic labels would be defined and displayed. The ACS estimate can justify discussing Stone Ridge as a location to evaluate, but cannot establish that residents need a particular legal service or that a specific location will produce clients.
Recommended approach
Bring a written location taxonomy to the consultation: Stone Ridge CDP, Loudoun County, any wider service area and Virginia. Decide which labels should appear in reporting, which should remain separate and how an ambiguous caller location will be handled. Treat any local search observation as dated context, not a forecast.
