1. Start with the geography your firm actually serves
Spotsylvania Courthouse CDP and Spotsylvania County are not interchangeable labels. A firm may describe its service area using the community, the county or a wider Virginia market, but each label can represent a different group of pages, campaigns and inquiries. Population data can provide geographic context, yet it cannot tell you how many people search for legal help, which practice areas they need or which channel will produce a case. Lead Attribution therefore should not treat the CDP estimate as a demand forecast. It should help you examine the real source and outcome of inquiries associated with the geography your firm chooses to serve.
Recommended approach
Before reviewing performance, define which geographic labels matter to your firm: Spotsylvania Courthouse, Spotsylvania County, Virginia or another stated service area. Then review whether the geographic wording attached to a journey, landing page or intake record matches the area your firm intends to evaluate.
