1. Separate South Run geography from source attribution
South Run CDP is recorded in Fairfax County, Virginia. A firm may serve people in South Run while also receiving inquiries from other parts of its service area. A place name in a form, call note or landing page is therefore not the same thing as a marketing source. Lead Attribution is presented as a way to keep those questions distinct: where the person is associated geographically, how the person arrived, what page they saw and what happened after contact. The Census record cannot tell you whether South Run residents are searching for a particular legal service or whether one channel produces more matters there. Your own inquiry and matter records are the appropriate basis for those decisions.
Recommended approach
Review whether your current records preserve both geographic context and acquisition context. Do not treat the South Run population estimate as a forecast. Instead, decide which locations, services and outcomes your firm needs to compare and whether those fields can be connected to an individual journey.
