1. Keep Long Branch geography separate from marketing evidence
Long Branch is a census-designated place in Fairfax County, Virginia. That geographic relationship matters when you review landing pages, service areas and intake records: a Long Branch inquiry is not automatically the same thing as an inquiry from all of Fairfax County, the wider metropolitan area or another Virginia community. The Census population estimate is useful as a description of the place, but it cannot tell you how many people need legal help or where they search.
Recommended approach
Agree on the geographic labels your firm will use before reviewing attribution. Separate Long Branch from Fairfax County and from broader Virginia inquiries, then assess whether each record contains enough information to identify the relevant service area. Treat geography as a field for analysis, not as proof that a market is producing demand.
