1. Define the geography before reviewing ROI
A Lakeside report can become misleading if the location label is not precise. Lakeside is recorded as a CDP, and its county relationship is Henrico County. Those are different geographic levels. A dashboard review should therefore establish whether “Lakeside” means the CDP itself, a service area that includes nearby communities, Henrico County, or a broader Virginia market. The Census population estimate is useful context for identifying the place, but it cannot be converted into a forecast of calls, matters or revenue. Ask Bosseo how locations are represented in ranking, lead and source-attribution views, and whether your firm can distinguish a Lakeside-related record from a countywide or statewide one.
Recommended approach
Bring a written geography definition to the consultation. Decide which locations should appear in keyword targets, call notes, lead classifications and management reports. Do not approve a dashboard view until the firm agrees on what a Lakeside record means and what it does not mean.
