1. Define the geography before you interpret the numbers
Difficult Run is recorded as a CDP in Fairfax County. That distinction matters when a firm asks which places produce calls or clients. A dashboard can display city and source information described on Bosseo’s public ROI Dashboard page, but your firm still needs to decide what “Difficult Run” means operationally: a named place target, part of a broader Fairfax County service area, or one location among several areas your firm serves. The Census population estimate describes residents of the CDP; it does not describe households, legal demand or the number of potential clients.
Recommended approach
During evaluation, ask to see how geographic labels would be defined in reporting. Separate Difficult Run from Fairfax County and from any wider metropolitan coverage. Agree in writing whether a location field refers to a search target, a caller’s stated location, a page location, or another business rule. Do not treat a place-level count as proof that a market is attractive.
