1. Define the Burke intake boundary before reviewing performance
Burke is recorded as a census-designated place in Fairfax County, Virginia. That relationship matters when you decide which callers belong in a Burke-focused review and which calls should be grouped with other service areas. It does not tell you how many people contact your firm, what type of legal matter they have or whether a particular practice area is strong in the community. Intake Coach should therefore be evaluated against your firm’s own call records and geographic rules, not against population as a proxy for opportunity. Ask how your team identifies a caller’s location, jurisdiction, urgency and intended service. Decide whether Burke calls need their own review category or should be assessed alongside the broader Fairfax County territory your firm serves.
Recommended approach
Bring your geographic intake rules to the consultation. Review how a call is identified as Burke-related, how county or court-jurisdiction questions are handled and who owns the next step when the caller is outside your accepted area.
