1. Define the footprint before you define the pages
Bosseo’s public product page says a firm can choose statewide coverage or limit the engine to selected counties. Milton’s recorded county relationship is Chittenden County, so a Milton-focused discussion should distinguish the town from the county and from Vermont as a whole. Those are not interchangeable targets. A page for Milton is not automatically a page for every community in Chittenden County, and a county footprint is not the same as statewide coverage. The Census population estimate can describe Milton’s recorded population, but it cannot establish that residents are searching for a particular legal service or that a page will produce an inquiry.
Recommended approach
Start with a geographic decision: Milton only, Chittenden County, additional Vermont counties, or the state. Ask Bosseo to show how each choice changes the service-and-city page set. Keep the firm’s actual service area, consultation eligibility, and intake capacity separate from population context. Expand only when the firm can explain why a location belongs in the footprint and how it will evaluate the resulting inquiries.
