1. Match the intake path to the work you accept
Bosseo says the Video Intake survey is built around practice areas and case types. Its public page describes separate question paths, qualification by case type, and weighting toward the higher-value work a firm wants to grow. That makes the first Burlington decision operational: which matters does your firm evaluate, and which should never be presented as equivalent? A firm serving Burlington may also serve clients elsewhere in Chittenden County, or may restrict particular services by location. Burlington’s relationship to Chittenden County should therefore be reflected in your own service rules, not treated as proof that a visitor is eligible. Define the geography and matter categories your firm actually accepts before deciding what the survey should ask.
Recommended approach
List each practice area, the geographic facts that affect eligibility, and the minimum information needed for an initial review. Ask Bosseo to show how those rules would be represented in the proposed flow. Do not use the Burlington population estimate as a substitute for a case-acceptance policy or demand forecast.
