Start with the St. George workflow, not a software wishlist
St. George city is a municipality in Washington County, Utah. The 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate records 101,995 people, with a margin of error of 39. That geographic fact establishes the community in which your firm operates; it does not establish demand for a particular legal service, case volume or software need. Your build decision should therefore begin inside the firm: where does work stall, who repeats it, and which step is difficult to supervise? Custom software is most defensible when the problem is specific enough to describe in operational terms, such as a status process, intake handoff or internal dashboard.
Recommended approach
List the recurring task rather than naming the desired technology. Record who performs it, what starts it, what information is entered, where the work waits and what a successful completion looks like. Use Washington County and St. George only as the service area context; do not use population as a substitute for an operational case.
