1. Start with the footprint you can actually serve
Bosseo’s public product page says a firm can choose statewide coverage or limit coverage to selected counties. For a South Jordan firm, the immediate geographic relationship is clear: South Jordan is in Salt Lake County. That does not mean every city in Utah belongs in your footprint, and it does not establish that a statewide plan is appropriate. Your intake rules, attorney licensing, court coverage and willingness to serve prospective clients should determine the boundary.
Recommended approach
Bring a city-and-county service map to the consultation. Mark South Jordan separately from other Salt Lake County communities, then identify any Utah counties you genuinely serve. Ask Bosseo to explain how the selected boundary would control the pages considered for the program. Treat expansion beyond Salt Lake County as a decision to review, not an automatic consequence of South Jordan’s population.
