1. Define the Ogden service area before discussing budget
The Census record identifies Ogden city and its relationship to Weber County; it does not establish a broader advertising territory. Your firm may serve only Ogden, all of Weber County, or selected communities outside the city. Those are different geographic decisions. Local Service Ads also depend on service areas and proximity, so a campaign should not treat every household in the county—or every person in the Ogden area—as equally relevant. Start with the locations your firm is authorized and equipped to serve. Then separate the city from the county and any other Utah communities you want to evaluate. This keeps an apparent geographic opportunity from becoming an intake problem involving matters outside your practice or coverage.
Recommended approach
Bring a written service-area map to the consultation. Ask Bosseo to review city, county, and any additional Utah coverage separately, then decide which areas should be included, excluded, or tested. Do not use the Ogden population estimate as a forecast of inquiries.
