1. Define the geographic view before reading the numbers
Clinton city and Davis County are not interchangeable geographic labels. The Census record identifies Clinton as a municipality in Davis County, with a 2020–2024 ACS five-year population estimate of 23,612. That fact can help you state the geography you want reviewed, but it cannot tell you whether people in Clinton are searching for a particular legal service or whether a marketing channel will produce signed matters. The dashboard page says city data can help firms ask which cities produce calls and where to direct the next marketing dollar. For your consultation, require a clear distinction between Clinton, Davis County and any broader Utah coverage. A city label should not silently become a county or statewide result.
Recommended approach
Ask for a proposed geographic definition for every view: Clinton city, Davis County, Utah, or another area your firm intentionally serves. Decide whether a call or lead should be associated with the person’s stated location, the page or keyword involved, or another documented rule. Review those definitions before using geographic totals in budget discussions.
