Does AI Answering replace my White Oak front desk?+
Bosseo’s public page describes a team-first arrangement: calls ring your people first, and the AI steps in when nobody answers within 20 seconds. Discuss your actual staffing and routing rules before deciding whether that fallback is appropriate.
What information does the system collect?+
Bosseo says the system captures case type, situation details and contact information, and provides a transcript and case summary. Your firm should determine the approved questions for each practice area and the boundaries of automated intake.
Can it handle more than one call at a time?+
Bosseo states that AI Answering handles up to 20 simultaneous calls. That capability does not predict your White Oak firm’s call volume. Ask how simultaneous-call records will reach your selected inbox or case-management destination.
What happens after a call?+
The public product description says you receive a full transcript, case summary and caller information, with classification as Potential New Client, Current Client or Other. Confirm the destination and ownership for each category during the consultation.
Can the system support urgent-call handling?+
Bosseo describes summaries and classification that can surface urgency. Your firm must define what counts as urgent, who reviews it and what callback or escalation procedure applies. The system should not be treated as an attorney or as a replacement for your legal judgment.
How should I evaluate whether it fits?+
Compare the documented capabilities with your phone routing, intake questions, record destination, escalation policy and review method. Use your own call records and follow-up observations; White Oak’s population estimate does not prove demand, missed calls or financial return.
