1. Start with the Taylor service area, not a demand assumption
Taylor is recorded as a municipality in Williamson County. That geographic relationship can help your firm define which callers, matters, and follow-up decisions belong in a Taylor-focused intake review. It cannot tell you how many people will call, which practice areas are needed, whether callers prefer a particular language, or how much business an improved intake process could produce. Keep those questions separate. Intake Coach’s job is to examine the conversations you receive and the choices your team makes within them. Review whether a caller’s location is captured accurately, whether the matter is within your firm’s geographic scope, and whether a handoff is needed when a case falls outside it.
Recommended approach
At a consultation, bring the geographic rules your firm already uses for Taylor and Williamson County. Decide which location questions an intake representative should ask, which answers require attorney review, and which situations should receive a clear follow-up path. Do not use the Census population estimate as a forecast.
