1. Define the geographic question before reviewing the dashboard
A Stafford firm can ask several different questions: how is it performing for Stafford city, which county relationship should appear in reporting, or which broader service areas produce inquiries? Those are not interchangeable. Stafford city is a municipality, and the Census record places it in Fort Bend County and Harris County. A dashboard review should therefore distinguish city targets from county or broader market targets rather than collapsing them into one local label. The population estimate gives a bounded sense of the municipality’s recorded size, but it cannot tell you how many people need legal help or whether a particular practice area is viable.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how location is represented in the dashboard and how you would separate Stafford from Fort Bend County, Harris County and any other areas your firm elects to serve. Agree on naming rules before you compare rankings, calls or leads. Treat any city-level trend as a measurement question, not a forecast of business.
