1. Start with the Slaton service area, not a population assumption
The Census record identifies Slaton city as a municipality in Lubbock County and records 5,761 residents in the 2020–2024 ACS 5-year estimate. That tells you how to name and scope the local market; it does not tell you how many people need counsel, search for a lawyer, contact your firm or sign a retainer. Attribution therefore should not use the population number as a forecast. It should preserve the distinction between a Slaton inquiry, a broader Lubbock County inquiry and any other Texas matter your firm accepts. Review whether location is captured during intake and whether the firm can separate service area from the client’s physical location, the incident location and the page that generated the visit.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how a Slaton-serving firm would review location, practice area and source together. Keep Slaton and Lubbock County as geographic labels for analysis, not as evidence of demand or performance.
