1. Set the geographic boundary before reviewing ROI
San Antonio is recorded as a municipality in Texas. The 2020–2024 ACS five-year estimate records 1,479,835 residents, with a margin of error of 251. The same record relates the city to Bexar County, Comal County and Medina County. Those facts establish a substantial place and its recorded county relationships; they do not establish legal demand, search volume, competition, calls or revenue. For a law firm, that distinction matters when a dashboard groups results by city, county or another service area. A lead associated with San Antonio is not automatically equivalent to a lead from a particular county, and a county result should not be presented as a city result without a stated rule.
Recommended approach
Before accepting a location-based metric, ask Bosseo to define the geography behind it. Decide whether your review will use San Antonio city, one or more listed counties, or a broader Texas service area. Record how the dashboard labels location, how ambiguous contacts are handled and whether a location can be checked against the underlying call, form or intake record.
