Use Richardson geography to define intake boundaries
A Richardson visitor may be contacting a firm that serves the city, clients elsewhere in Collin County or Dallas County, or a broader Texas practice. Those are different service decisions. The Census record identifies Richardson as a municipality and records its relationship to Collin County and Dallas County; it does not show where prospective clients come from or which matters a firm should accept. Video Intake should therefore begin with the firm’s actual service area, not with an assumption that every local visitor is eligible.
Recommended approach
Write an explicit geographic rule for each practice-area flow. Decide whether the intake should accept Richardson inquiries only, Richardson plus specified parts of Collin County and Dallas County, or matters from elsewhere in Texas. Route an inquiry for review when location is unclear rather than implying eligibility from a person’s address alone.
