1. Start with the Pecan Grove service area, not a population forecast
The Census identifies Pecan Grove as a CDP in Fort Bend County. That relationship matters when your firm reviews geographic reporting: a Pecan Grove inquiry should not automatically be treated as a countywide inquiry, and a Fort Bend County report should not be presented as a Pecan Grove result. The population estimate provides context for the place, but it cannot tell you how many people need a lawyer, how many search for one, or how many will contact your firm.
Recommended approach
Decide which geographic labels your intake and reporting use. At minimum, review whether Pecan Grove and Fort Bend County should be separate values, how addresses are recorded, and whether a lead’s location is available by the person or inferred from a digital visit. Use Lead Attribution to examine actual journeys rather than using the Census estimate as a proxy for opportunity.
