1. Start with the site you actually operate
A hosting decision should begin with an inventory of the website, not a promise about rankings or speed. Record the content management system, domains and subdomains, databases, forms, media files, redirects, SSL configuration and any services that depend on DNS. If your firm serves Melissa from elsewhere in Collin County or serves clients beyond the city, keep those geographic relationships explicit in the site architecture and in the migration review. Melissa’s status as a municipality does not, by itself, tell you which pages, services or technical resources your firm needs.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to review the current environment and define the required files, databases, DNS records, certificates and access permissions before approving a move. Require a written list of what will be transferred and what remains outside the hosting scope.
