1. Make Marlin and Falls County service boundaries explicit
A Marlin firm may receive calls from people in the city, elsewhere in Falls County, or outside the county. The Census record identifies Marlin as a municipality in Falls County; it does not define your firm’s permissible service area or prove that callers come from either geography. That makes geographic qualification an intake decision, not a demographic assumption. A useful review asks whether staff consistently capture the caller’s location, the location of the incident or legal matter, and any jurisdictional deadline. It also asks what should happen when a caller is outside the firm’s scope.
Recommended approach
Write a geographic response path for the matters you accept. Decide which location facts belong in the first conversation, who reviews an out-of-area matter, and what follow-up is appropriate when the firm cannot take the case. Use Intake Coach to evaluate whether those questions are asked and whether the next step is stated clearly.
