Set the geographic question before reviewing the board
The dashboard page says firms can review service-and-city keyword targets, city-level production, rankings and source attribution. For a firm serving Lancaster, the first decision is whether “Lancaster” is being measured as the municipality itself, a wider Dallas County service area or another geographic scope selected by the firm. Those are not interchangeable. Lancaster is recorded as a municipality in Dallas County, Texas; the population estimate applies to Lancaster city, not to every household or individual in the county. A dashboard view should therefore make the geographic definition explicit before anyone interprets a ranking, call or matter.
Recommended approach
Ask Bosseo to show how geographic labels are defined in the consultation and decide which locations belong in each report view. Keep Lancaster city and Dallas County separate if both matter to your practice. Do not treat the city’s population estimate as a forecast of searches, cases or revenue.
