1. Set the geographic boundary before asking for reviews
Your firm may serve clients in Kerrville, elsewhere in Kerr County or beyond. Those are not interchangeable audiences. The Census record identifies Kerrville as a municipality and records its county relationship as Kerr County; it does not establish the firm’s service territory. A reputation program should therefore begin with the areas your firm actually accepts matters from and the location shown on its public profiles. Review activity can support credibility, but it should not be used to imply that every reviewer came from Kerrville or that a Kerrville population estimate represents the firm’s reachable market.
Recommended approach
Bring a written service-area description to the consultation. Decide whether the primary profile should emphasize Kerrville, Kerr County or a broader Texas practice area. Then review whether client-facing review requests, profile language and reporting use those boundaries consistently. Do not expand geographic claims merely because the population figure is known.
