1. Define the Houston area your profile is meant to represent
Houston city and its surrounding county relationships are not interchangeable geographic targets. A firm may serve Houston city, one or more of Fort Bend, Harris, Montgomery and Waller counties, or a broader Texas market. The Census record establishes those relationships; it does not show where your clients come from or where legal demand exists. A reputation plan should therefore begin with your actual service area, office or offices, eligible matters and the locations you are permitted to describe publicly. Review requests and public replies should not imply coverage that the firm does not provide.
Recommended approach
Bring a current service-area list to the consultation. Separate Houston city from each county and from any wider metropolitan or statewide coverage. Ask Bosseo how geographic scope would be reflected in review-request rules, profile information, response language and reporting. Treat the Census population figure as context for eligibility, not as a forecast of inquiries or case volume.
