1. Define the calls that need a safety net
Grand Prairie spans four recorded county relationships, so your service area and caller-routing rules may not align neatly with one county boundary. That geographic fact does not show how many people will call or which legal matters they will raise. It does support a practical review: identify the locations and practice areas your firm actually serves, then decide which calls should be answered by your team first and which unanswered calls should reach the AI. Bosseo’s public AI Answering page describes team-first routing, with the AI stepping in when nobody answers within 20 seconds. It also describes coverage for nights, weekends, holidays and overflow.
Recommended approach
Write a short routing policy before evaluating the service. Specify the callers your front desk should receive first, the conditions that trigger the AI, the matters that require urgent human attention and the calls that should be treated as current-client or other inquiries. Do not use Grand Prairie’s population as a substitute for your own call records.
