1. Set the Eagle Pass service area deliberately
The Census identifies Eagle Pass city and its relationship to Maverick County. That distinction matters when you decide whether an LSA profile should focus on Eagle Pass, include other parts of Maverick County, or use a broader service area. A city boundary, a county relationship, and the places your firm accepts matters are not interchangeable. Bosseo’s public LSA page says its management includes practice-area categories and service zones. It does not establish which geographic configuration is correct for your firm.
Recommended approach
Bring a written service-area policy to the consultation. Identify where your lawyers actually accept new matters, which locations create travel or scheduling problems, and whether certain case types should use different geographic boundaries. Ask Bosseo to review the proposed Eagle Pass and Maverick County coverage against the firm’s intake rules rather than expanding coverage merely because a wider area is available.
