1. Set the Dallas service boundary before writing questions
A Dallas law firm can describe its service area as Dallas city, selected counties or a broader Texas market. Those are not interchangeable audiences. The Census record identifies Dallas city as a municipality and records relationships with Collin County, Dallas County, Denton County, Kaufman County and Rockwall County. It does not establish that every resident in those places is a prospective client or that a particular legal problem is common. Video Intake should therefore begin with the geographic decisions your firm already makes: which locations it accepts, which locations require review and which locations are outside scope.
Recommended approach
Create a location rule for each practice-area flow. Ask only the geographic questions that affect eligibility, and state what happens when an answer needs human review. Do not use the Dallas population estimate as a forecast. Compare completed intakes by location with your existing matter records before changing the service boundary.
