Define the service area before setting the profile
Corpus Christi is recorded as a municipality in Texas. The cited Census record places the city in relation to Aransas, Kleberg, Nueces and San Patricio counties, but that relationship does not establish that your firm serves every location in those counties. Households, individuals, a city and counties are different geographic units. An LSA profile should therefore reflect your firm’s actual service policy rather than treating the surrounding county relationships as an automatic advertising territory. A firm that accepts matters only in selected communities, courts or practice areas needs to decide those boundaries before reviewing lead quality.
Recommended approach
List the cities, counties and matter types your intake team can genuinely evaluate. Compare that list with the geographic settings available for the profile, then decide which areas should be included, excluded or reviewed separately. Use the consultation to identify whether a broad Corpus Christi-area setting would create inquiries your firm cannot serve. Do not use the city’s 2020–2024 ACS population estimate of 317,419 as a forecast of demand, competition or lead volume.
