1. Set the geographic question before setting a budget
Brookshire is a municipality in Waller County, Texas. That relationship matters when you define the territory your firm wants to serve, but it does not establish how many people search for a lawyer or how many firms compete for those searches. The city’s ACS estimate is 5,495 residents for 2020–2024, with a margin of error of 17; it should not be turned into a forecast. Bosseo’s public Local Service Ads description says the program includes practice-area categories and service areas. That makes geographic scope a decision to review deliberately rather than a setting to expand automatically. Decide whether Brookshire is the core location, one part of a Waller County service area, or a boundary for selected matters. Keep the firm’s actual capacity and eligibility in view.
Recommended approach
Review Brookshire, Waller County and any additional service areas separately. For each area, record which practice categories are relevant, which matters the firm accepts, and which inquiries should be excluded. Do not enlarge coverage merely because a larger area contains more households or people.
